What We Can And Cannot Treat With Aligners
Well-suited: crowding, spacing and gaps, mild to moderate overbites and underbites, crossbites, and relapse after childhood treatment — by far the most common adult case we see.
Less predictable: large bite corrections, significant rotations, and substantial vertical movement. Those cases finish faster and more reliably in fixed braces, and clear ceramic brackets are considerably less conspicuous than most adults expect. Dr. Johnson will give you a specific recommendation instead of handing you a menu.
Existing Dental Work
Crowns, bridges, veneers, implants, and areas of gum recession all affect planning — implants in particular do not move. We evaluate that first and coordinate directly with your general dentist or periodontist, which is standard for adult cases and should not be your job to manage.
